Great location and comfy accommodation. Located in the centre of Sidmouth and having a parking slot is a big plus but the parking arrangements would possibly be an issue for large SUV vehicles. Finding it can be a problem so look for the toy museum, which is in the old Chapel. The accommodation is next door. Property has everything you need for a relaxing break. Plenty of eateries and drinking holes close by and great walks around the town.

Chapel Mews is a little gem, right in the heart of Sidmouth - the perfect location, just a short walk to the sea front or into the town. It was lovely to be able to park the car in the designated car parking spot, and then forget about it for a few days. We were in Sidmouth for the Jazz and Blues Festival, which looks to become a regular annual event, so we had no plans to explore further afield, though next time we could perhaps opt for a longer stay and take in more of the surroundings too. The cottage is beautifully appointed with quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. You won't find a comfier bed anywhere else and the bedding and towels are all you would hope for. The extra touches are what makes a holiday home extra special, and Chapel Mews does not disappoint. Complimentary chocolates and biscuits etc; plenty of dishwasher tablets and cleaning bits and bobs - all you need in your home from home. And Alexa is on hand to play your favourite music and switch the lights on and off. She didn't pour the prosecco though! Thank you very much, Chris and Wendy, for a lovely stay. Lovely little cottage. Great location. Everything you need for a weekend by the sea, close to the seafront, shops, pubs and restaurants. Looking forward to staying again.

Beautiful cottage in the town centre of Sidmouth. 1 minute walk away from the sea. 2 minute walk away from absolutely everything.

We have just stayed (Oct 2021) for 3 nights in this wonderful cottage. It is beautifully decorated, well equipped, and has super-comfy beds in both rooms. Added bonus is a toilet/sink downstairs, as well as the lovely shower room upstairs with one of the best showers we have ever had in a hotel or self catering. Sidmouth is delightful too, and having a parking space outside the cottage, right in the centre of the village is a real bonus. We definitely hope to be back very soon. Chris and Wendy were super-helpful too, before and during our stay. Would 100% recommend to families of 3 (us) or 4.

Absolutely loved Chapel Mews! We spent the Feb 2022 half term ‘working from home’ here. It is so pretty, well equipped and central that staying here really was a holiday despite BAU. Impeccably clean and beautifully kept, I wish we never had to leave and am sure it won’t be long before we return. I also echo the previous review about the brilliant shower but must add the bed was divine! Thanks Wendy and Chris - your insider recommendations of the local area were spot on too.

This Mews House was fantastic! Brilliant condition, great location and Chris was extremely helpful and always happy to answer questions. Just a short walk from the sea and the shops. We had a great stay as a family of 4. Would highly recommend.
