My Husband and I were recently married at Kennaway House on 3rd September 2022. Our Special day was magical from start to finish. Nikki the manager of the house allowed myself the bride to get ready at Kennaway before the ceremony. We had a photographer and videographer there to capture the preparation of me getting my hair done and dressed. Once I was ready, soon after the guests started to arrive and it gave me the chance to see them all without them knowing. Being able to get ready at the house meant so much to me. I think it settled the grooms nerves too knowing I was there ready to make my grand entrance. We celebrated our whole day at the house using the cellar for our wedding breakfast and reception in the evening. Doing this made our day run so smoothly. Our guests even told us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to. The venue is so close to the seafront and Connaught Gardens that we managed to slip away for a short amount of time, to get some private photos taken with our photographer and videographer. We can't recommend Kennaway House enough for the perfect place in Sidmouth to be married. Thank you so much Nikki and Kennaway House for having us. Mr & Mrs Mitchell

Just had a wonderful mid morning treat with friends at this beautiful house. We had freshly brewed coffee with a slice of carrot and passionfruit cake! Delicious. Service was excellent and the surroundings lovely. To top it off they used real china cups/saucers/plates 😁 I would highly recommend! Monday-Friday 10am-3pm till March

Sidmouth is very fortunate to have such a special venue as Kennaway House. So many events / weddings happening all year round. Providing a wonderful facility for residents and visitors alike. You are doing a great job Kennaway House, keep it going

We had our wedding ceremony at Kennaway house in September 2020. I can't rate it highly enough. Nikki was so welcoming and helpful, paying such attention to detail. The house itself is beautiful and perfect for photos. We didn't want a big room that our small number of guests would be swamped by and it was just perfect. There was full disabled access and parking too which was important for us and the Devon Registrars ceremony was brilliant. A total hidden gem, particularly for smaller weddings.

Kennaway House is a beautiful Regency house in Sidmouth - a Regency seaside town. The House has all kinds of events, courses and exhibitions throughout the year. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I believe it is also a wedding venue and place for meetings.

We visited as part of the Sidmouth Folk Festival. The house was being used to promote jewellery and art. The house is well situated with easy access.

The house is gorgeous but we weren't looking at it much. The access lift is peculiar but worked fine. We went to look at an amateur art exhibition and we surprised to be charged £1 each for entry!

My family used Kennaway House for the funeral and wake of my late Mother Jo Small. although it was a sad day, the staff, the venue and the caterers were wonderful. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a venue for hopefully a happy occasion but also for the not so happy to take a look at Kennaway House. My son and daughter in law held their wedding reception there and were so pleased they have just booked again for a party.
