I have never been a fan of going to the dentist, but Joana and her dental nurse Lizzy actually make it quite a pleasure going. I've spent a lot of time in joanas chair with temperamental teeth and having veneers done. I trust them both. They're both so friendly and absolutely hilarious but very professional at the same time. Joana is a has extremely high standards and whilst having my veneers done, she would correct anything she wasn't happy with, even if i couldn't see the flaw myself! I still went to joana and lizzy after moving back to Plymouth for a year or so, I won't be going anywhere else. They make the perfect team and work together so well. Lizzy is amazing at her job and is so tentative. She looks after her clients and keeps them as comfortable as possible.

I recently had extensive restoration and cosmetic dental work done with Joana Santos at Bupa Dental Care - Sidmouth. The process was seamless from start to finish - Joana is professional, friendly and a perfectionist when it comes to her work. I could not have asked for a better service. She did not discharge me until I was 100% happy. Elizabeth Beer - her dental nurse was an absolute joy and they make an excellent team. She was attentive and always made sure that I was comfortable during those long hours in the chair. It is very clear that she loves her job, loves working with people and she is extremely good at what she does! Thank you so much for everything ladies - I could not be happier with the final result. I can't stop smiling 😁😃😄

I recently visited Bupa Dental Care in Sidmouth and I must say it was an outstanding experience. Dr. Joana, the dentist who attended to me, was not only highly skilled but also incredibly friendly and approachable. Her competence and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. Her professionalism and attention to detail were truly remarkable. Moreover, Dr. Joana's friendliness and compassionate nature made the whole dental visit much more enjoyable. After many years of being self conscious about my smile I decided to look into having my teeth whitened and my old caps replaced - my dentist Joana could not have been more brilliant ! She took the time to explain all of my options the pros and cons of each and how much each option would cost to suit my budget. In the end I decided to take the plunge and did a whitening treatment followed by veneers - the entire process from start to finished was so professional and tailored to my decisions and absolutely worth every penny - I am so thrilled with the outcome and feel confident again! Thank you so much to Joanna and dental nurse Lizzie for all your effort and time this was a fantastic experience! The practise is well organised , appointment availability and cleanliness were always spot on and friendly reception team - well done all !

Took both my children for their annual check ups. They both saw a lovely dentist called Joana. My children can be nervous of the dentist, in particular my son, but Joana was brilliant with them both. The surgery was very clean and tidy and the windows were wide open which was reassuring during this covid-19 outbreak. Joana's nurse was friendly and professional. Thank you for your efforts during these unprecedented times. See you in 6 months for our check ups :-)

Highly recommend this practice! I hate going absolutely terrified... the staff were so helpful during theses difficult times ..they have hit the social distance and sanitizing off with no fault... my dentist was amazing made me feel at ease and discussed at every stage what my treatments involved.. the dental nurse was very professional and reassuring Thank you to the manager and all your team I will highly recommend bupa!

I had a tooth removed this week. I am claustrophobic and have very sensitive teeth, so as a rule a trip to the dentist is very stressful for me. Not this time Sophie my dentist was so kind and confident as was her lovely dental nurse, who’s name I didn’t get. All the staff are very professional and polite. The best dental experience I’ve ever had!

I hate going to the dentist and I’m a nervous wreck even thinking about it, but this practice makes it very easy to attend for treatment/check ups. I have always received great care and service from Mill Street and after a recent visit I decided to write a review. My treatment over the last few years has been great and the work carried out last week was done quickly, fairly painlessly and with constant reassurance (asking me if I was OK, that I was doing fine). I think I’ve been attending Mill Street since they opened for NHS patients. Yes, you have to wait for an appointment (they are a busy, popular practice) yes appointments have been cancelled at a moments notice (I think twice in seven/eight years), yes my dentist has changed over the years (as has my GP), yes you may not be seen on time at your appointment (as at the GP), but having a friendly, efficient and professional practice over-rules all of that. I visited this week for planned treatment - removal of an old filling and replacement. The dentist had talked through my treatment on my last visit, and offered several options. I arrived to a busy waiting room, reception staff were, as usual, friendly and welcoming, and I waited about ten minutes to be seen - this is the same as my recent GP and hospital appointments - we are never seen on time and don’t expect to. I am sorry others have given poor review ratings, but I feel the service and treatment deserves full marks. (The ‘fairly painlessly’ remark refers to my sensitive teeth and an injection - which was hardly felt)
