Absolutely outstanding in every way, we first started off with Jasmine who was great at advising and designing our new bathroom and kitchen, several home visits later with her and Andy (the boss), who as Jasmine was great at advise and his expertise and it was all good to go, great price and amazing woodman ship. Was told 3 weeks for the bathroom and they have managed to complete the job a few days earlier. We are having our kitchen done in 3 weeks time and can’t wait to see the results of this…The builders themselves were brilliant and very accommodating, even sheeting was put down the stairs to prevent damage to the carpet. We needed a new kitchen with a better layout and new equipment. Jasmine was our first port of call for design. She created a number of 3d designs for us to review, and adapted each one based on our feedback and her suggestions. I think we finally made it with Plan 14. Then we met Andy, who would be our project manager. He too had the patience of a saint, talking us through the steps that would take us to our new kitchen. He stayed in close contact throughout the process, introducing us to an excellent team of skilled craftsmen. They took out the old kitchen, took up the old floor, laid new plumbing and electrics, skimmed the walls and ceiling with plaster, levelled and then tiled the floor, painted the room, fitted the units and the equipment, and stayed around until everything was finished. A superb job for which we are very grateful. Thank you so much, we'll get you round when we need more work done. I could not be more pleased, we had great advice from Mike who came to measure the house and provide the quote, super help from Sally who helped us choose the perfect flooring for our cottage, Andy was brilliant, came when he said he would to check the more in depth details after we accepted the quote, and Chris was amazing, turning up when he was supposed to, and really going above and beyond. I really cannot recommend this company enough.

I have been painting a few rooms in a customers house. I did the Kitchen in Dulux KItchen White Cotton which covered the previous paint in 2 coats. My customer purchased Little Greene paint from 4homes who said it would give good coverage with 2 coats. I am going over the same colour as the Kitchen but it has taken 3 coats so far and will need a 4th coat. This paint cost much more than the Dulux product and the coverage is not in the same league. I have now looked online and it is suggested doing two coats of paint with a cheap white emulsion before doing two coats of LIttle Greene. If you are going to sell a paint that is not fit for purpose and needs 2 coats of a different paint before use it should be made clear before you start. Customer is not happy and the next time a customer suggests buying paint from 4homes I will have to point out what has happened in the past. I think a refund is in order.
